Painting rollhoops?

Hmmm,

i'm toying with painting my rollbars as i'd like to further individualise my car. It's mineral grey, so i'm either thinking:

Mineral grey
gloss black
Matt black
cover in black leather

thoughts/opinions?

Have you extended leather? Then I say go for cover in black leather. Think that would look better imo. Otherwise if painting, Mineral Grey would be my vote.

I did mine gloss black to match the front grills and facelift side indicators. I like them, but might not be everyone's cuppa. I think I uploaded some pics somewhere.

I've had a look at your posts, can't seem to find anything but I think that twin turbo did that too but his car is white

I think if you're gonna paint them then they should match the car - so Mineral grey. I have toyed with the idea of painting mine bright red.

I have hopefully just put one up! Hope that helps a bit.

Worked, looks good. It's not something I would have even considered as I never see them so kind forget about them but then the colour they are match the grill and mirrors on mines and if your being picky the exhaust too so it doesn't look out of place really.

Defo should match the car Zed Five

I first painted mine in gloss white, then later changed to gloss black.
You don't want it to attract too much attention so black goes well better with the surround but gloss is separates it a bit rather than matt.
Bodyshops (I took mine to an alloy wheel refurbisher) do it for approx £45.
As someone said best colour would be the match of your car (bodyshop should be able to do it easily) or gloss black.

You already know this, but have a pro paint your roll hoops. With that glossy surface, and paint is prone to peeling. Whatever you do, I'd go with a high-gloss.
