Painting Cerium 19” G92 alloys

Hello.

I’ve taken a big step this weekend and bought a G29 M40i. I’m a lifetime VAG guy and I’m in shock I’ve taken this step.

One part of the deal I needed was a refurb on all 4 alloys. They have agreed to it but I need to ask

Would you keep them normal colour or paint them black? Considering I’ve orderered a black grill and will be blacking the rest of the cars silver Esque parts.

Will painting them black be ok? Or would it be a big no no because I can’t tell if they are diamond cut or not. I just think if I’m blacking the vehicle out I need to black the alloys too.

Mine are diamond cut on a San Francisco red car, though I'm assuming yours are more grey/gunmetal?

Hello and welcome, good choice

Mine came with the factory shadowline pack. The good news is the wheels are the exact same, including diamond cut, just mine are painted black at supply. HTH

Thank you for that information. That’s lovely.

I thought they were a tiny bit different on the silver ones than than the shadow pack ones. I’m doing a black out job on it and I think I need them gloss black.

I just worry as I’ve never painted an alloy in my life even when I sold cars
