Painting Calipers/Hubs-Quick Help

This weekend I'm planning on painting my calipers when the same products that GAZA62 used in the following link http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=67932#p67932.
I have these products but my question is do I need primer for using the engine laquer? The High Temperature spray doesnt need primer and I'm doing this on Saturday so I need to know. Also what product can I use to clean the calipers and discs?

Personally I used Halfords brake caliper paint which is brush on. No overspray really thick, quick drying, etc. I see no reason not to use a product specific to the job. 1 tin has now done 3 sets of calipers and the first is unmarked after over 2 years :)

Clean the brakes with a rotary wire brush (wear mask - brake dust !!!) You can then clean with brake cleaner and paint straight on.

Can't comment if primer is needed for the aerosol
