Painting and repairing stone chips...

Hi people I have a bmw z4 sdrive30I M sport hi-line edition in ALPINE WHITE. I have some minor stone chips, very small not bigger than the tip of a matchstick and I want to paint them just to make them less visible to the naked eye. Can somebody please tell me what is the best paint kit available I can buy for this job? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

I have just bought a Chipex kit after seeing the obligatory excellent advert / youtube clip ... but also reading some reviews online which were very positive thus my purchase. I have mineral white. I also have a touch up pen/tube from BMW but tbh to date haven't tried either... though I need to as I have one stone chip acquired the other day which will need sorting as the stone took a chunk out of the front bumper right down to the plastic.

Have a look at this if not getting the BMW touch up ....

Use the BMW paint but apply it with a cocktail stick. Just put a small amount on the end of the cocktail stick and tap it into the chip. Once dried then use the same technique to apply the clear coat. Its a simple way of ensuring no big blob of paint in the chip and you can then work it down with a polisher or whatever tool you prefer.

This is something that might help prevent stone chips;

I bought this and fitted to the sides of my motorcycle tank to prevent my knees scuffing the tank.

Same material as those cheap tax disc stickers.
Sticks with hand pressure and can be pealed off without damaging the paint.

Just bought a Chipex kit to do the odd few. never had much luck with the 'standard' touch up pens

I have used the bmw paint and my secret weapon in some lanka blob remover... Really is amazing stuff.... I dont have access to a da or the balls the wet sand the blob away but that stuff is the next best thing.
