Painted my calipers

I thought about yellow when I had mine done, but I the end decided that yellow meant ceramic and so I went with blue:

Mine were a full off the car refurb.

Mine are boring silver too.

However, silver is very in at the moment...

Although BMW seem to have gone blue on their new cars...
some look ok, on some it looks odd, depending on the exterior colour obviously.

Good job, but for some reason it just doesn't look right to me, might just be me though!

Its the Yellow clashing with the red seats. If you had black seats it would have worked... too Colourful..Ronald MacDonald cartoonish?
Darker Red would work :)

I was thinking the same after seeing the red seats (nevertheless a good paint job) but Ronald MacDonald just put me in stitches!

My next door neighbours brother came around in his new Jag F-Type Coupe, it had dull red callipers, it really let what is a gorgeous car down.

I've got mine to do in a few weeks, I normally use Hammerite smooth silver or gold. You don't need to mess around with primer etc, just clean the calliper and paint, my CTR callipers still look good 3 years on, no flaking or staining etc.

I did think about red to match the seats, although I had a silver Mitsubishi FTO where I did the calipers Red and I didn't like it.

Maybe I'll have the seats re trimmed yellow to match!

Maybe I'll try painting the calipers a different colour in a few months?

Presume you mean "By" not "Bo" . Each to their own 'n' all and I thought its a bit different and at least they wont go rusty brown. You don't have to worry though, the whole car only lasted 200 miles after those pics were taken so they've probably been turned into a dishwasher or something now. R.I.P car.
