painted dash trim

I have got my brushed aluminium painted Piano black to match the rest of the trim,but not 100% happy with the new bit,it's not as shiny as the original piano black. what should I do?it's the small part that goes round the headlight switch,might ask the paint shop to go over it again,or shall I not bother?

what do you think?
 
I know but have you looked outside,it's raining heavily.

I haven't paid for it yet,so might just say to do it again,then I'll be happy :P
 
Tell them to give it another go if you're not happy Navid. Can't hurt. Looking forward to seeing pics.
 
Nice and sunny where we are isn't it PVR :D

Would be interested to see though as I would be be tempted to do mine and put back on to aid selling.
 
If it's not right get it fixed as it must bother you enough to post about it and you've got a lot of hours looking at it.

at first I thought that'd be fine as it is such a small area and behind the steering wheel,but then later on I thought, I know it is there and I won't be happy till it's done properly,so will get it sorted.

by the way,I used to check the weather forecast by using Yahoo widgets before,now I won't bother,I just come to the forum :rofl: thanks for your sympathy about us having an awful rainy day
 
The people you gave it to, did they say they can spray it to match??
Also have you thought about maybe wrapping it??
just keep sending a daily request to breakers via 1stchoice.co.uk
 
Or other option would be to have the other piece sprayed aswell.

But i know exactually what you mean.. you will always know its not right and it will bug you everytime you see it.. so worth getting it fixed.

Also cloudless in Derby today again... yesterday we had glorious sunny weather but was a bit nippy.

Chris,

the main dash part is in Piano Black,it's a genuine part so have to get the rest to match.I haven't got my own dash trim painted,bought a spare one,in case I change my mind or want to sell the rest later on :)
