painted callipers

It's pretty subtle as I chose black paint but I think that it was worth spending a few hours in the garage avoiding the list of jobs ner indoors was trying to get me to do:

Clean job, well done!
Having repainted mine with grey last year, it is really worth the time spent on it. It refreshes/improves the wheels area when looking at it.

Cheers, that is what I was after. I think the callipers are a bit small to paint a bright colour but the silver on the hubs makes that whole area much cleaner. Just ordered some M stickers off eBay so hopefully that will finish the job...don't know why I didn't do it earlier!

Lovely looking MC - definitely one of the best exterior/interior combos - and a great job on the callipers.

But... am I going mad or are the wheels in the above pic photoshopped?! :?

No photoshopping involved, just a picture on my mobile. While they were off the car I cleaned them inside and out and put back to black on them.

Ah - it's the grey/white wheel emblems (compared to the indicators which are blue/white) which threw me a bit!

Are you sure you haven't desaturated that pic the of the wheels on the car? The wheels themselves look colourless, whereas the car clearly has plenty of colour.

Also, the centre caps on the other pics clearly have blue on the emblems, whereas that pic doesn't.

Pulling the wool over our eyes :poke:

And which hand did you hold the brush in?

(just wanted to add to the interrogation  )

Ha ha...defiantly no picture trickery, wouldn't know how to even if I wanted to! Guess it is just my phone. I used hammerite smooth (silver and black). Just took the wheels off and painted in situ...took a while and used a fine brush to get around the edges of the callipers. Used a 1/2 inch brush on the rest of the callipers and another on the hubs. I used my right hand and listened to radio 1 throughout the process :D
