Painted Brake Calipers & Wheel Hubs Silver!

As above, used hammerite smooth silver.

Sold in halfords. Pretty expensive for what you get but it lasts so well worth it.
 
Just make sure you use a wire brush to loosen off the old crud that builds up over time otherwise the paint might not stick properly. I also used some calliper cleaner to get all the grease off. I was also feeling lazy so bought a wire brush attachment for my drill. Made life so much easier. I also then covered them in a lacquer so that the paint won’t fade but that’s probably only needed if using bright colours. Silver/black probably doesn’t need the lacquer covering.

Oh and remember if you are doing it with the callipers in situ please remember to mask off the pads, disks and any rubber connections (bleed nipples etc).
