Paint Scuff

So apparently after 3 months of owning the car I still can't judge the turning circle and length perfectly :headbang:

White scuff on bumper at present, any suggestions on best compound to try lift it using? Before resorting to getting the bumper repainted.

Can put pic up once home from work, ~6 hours or so.

Put a pic up of the scuff - there's some detailers on the forum who will be able to help ....

Tapatalking...

If you can catch the scuff with your nail, you will need to paint it... or if you are very, very lucky a wet sand...

If not, you should be able to polish it out... On my Z4 on the rear bumper I have between 18-24 microns to play with...

With all polishing, you should go with the lightest cut and work back to harsher products...

A pic would be best to help out more...

As an update, my stepdad (car industry 40+ years) had a look when got home and it seems the white mark will lift with polish, however will have to get the bumper done at some point to remove some scratching the paint being removed has shown. Didn't manage to get a picture pre-polishing as it was done as soon as I got in while I was still trying to unpack stuff.

A pic of the damage after some polishing, most paint removed, shows the damage underneath though, more than expected. Thinking I will be giving smartrepair a call at some point, or taking it somewhere to get it done properly.
