Paint matching

That looks more like a lack of match between brand new paint and old paintwork with lots of micro-scratches/holograms in.

It may simply need a machine polish/paint correction to solve. ThoughI wouldn't trust a bodyshop to do that correction, and would get a proper detailer to do it.

Anybody can claim to be a painter and stick a spray gun in their hand - but proper tinting is an art which is only gained with years of experience of dealing with different paints, finishes and technology.
That pretty much sums it up...

Paint shop just contacted me, they said to just bring it in on Friday, as they have the new reversing sensor, and they will do it all again.
That was too easy, now I'm nervous again!

Well it seems like my concerns are founded.
I took my car to an independent body shop today to get a second opinion.
He was quite shocked, and said it is completely the wrong colour, he also got or a light source and pointed out to me the difference in the size of the metallic flakes. Which again are totally different.
Well now I'm armed with this info, I will be taking it back tomorrow, and demand it be completely redone.
