Paint code sterling grey

Anyone know whereabouts the paint code would be on an E85 03 plate. Is it stamped onto a plate or on the log book somewhere?

It's 472

I think it's also detailed on a stamp in the engine bay

If you lift the bonnet it's on the left hand wing on the suspension turret pretty sure it's 472 because I got a touch up bottle for mine.

Thanks Rich and bandit. Paintshop wanted code for front bumper which I dropped off about 8 weeks ago! They got the code then they had a load of swatches of different shades of that code and a 'daylight' lamp to show which was nearest. Fingers crossed might get it back soon. My fault in the first instance really as I said there was no rush....bad move Good paintshop though and they do hunter alignment.
