Pagid discs on ECP

Just noticed EuroCarParts have a 30% discount on brake discs, they list Pagid for the z4 m for about £125 per disc, seems good value? What do guys reckon?

They're not showing as in stock, so I assume the 30% discount won't apply, which makes them not much cheaper than OEM discs.

If the deal is valid, would you choose the Pagids over OEM? Is there a big diffrence? Pagid are a recognised make soI would assume performance would be very similar?

If you can get them for £120-ish each then go for it

I wouldn't be surprised if Pagid are an OEM supplier anyway, as their sister company Textar supplies the pads.

i priced up the discs & pads x 4 corners & with discount came to just under £200 .
may as well have the drilled package from here http://www.mtecbrakes.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_12_83_93&products_id=15072

iv'e got the pagid pads and discs all round on mine with no problems at all

Thanks for the responses, seems like a worthwhile saving if I can get ECP to honour the dicount..

keep us updated on the outcome and performance if you decide to go for them as i could be up for some new discs soon

Just checked their website out as I'm after discs myself £365 per pair, dont knowif they charge delivery.

Don't forget to use one of their perennial discount codes for 20-40% off.

You can either use MIDMONTH30 or PAGID30 to get you 30% off the discs - so £255 all in (free shipping).

However...they may use the excuse that the discounts only apply to stock items, so be careful.

If I do use the non genuine discs (pagid) and fit them myself will it affect my mondial warranty?
Only on the fitted parts, as they're not BMW stamped, so BMW won't support a warranty claim on them.

Anything not related to the discs/pads will still be covered.

Just changed mine, ebc pads and new discs, better bite and can now hear the air wooshing through the vent holes, only downside is a bit of sqealing at low speed,I suppose that will clear when they bed in properly.

£312 for discs,£80 for ebc redstuff pads,£37 seal kits the brakes are now spot on it was well worth doing although the pads were not worn as bad as I had thought,I took the calipers off completely cleaned and repainted them.

My pads are quite new, so I"ll probabily just replace the discs and maybe paint the calipers. What is the seal kit for??? Is it a requirement for a disc change???

Sorry, I've just read your other topic and understand what the seal kit is for  Is it usuall for the seal to split when changing discs??
