Paddles not working

Hi

We have an E89 3.0i auto. The paddles have stopped working on the steering wheel. The car is at a BMW specialist currently.

There is no mechanical fault to be found. It has been suggested to have some sort of software update may resolve the issue.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Just an update. The Z4 had a software update and this resolved the issue!

Funny things aren’t they. Gone are the analogue days of tinkering with something to fix it.
It’s all plugging in and updating software now isn’t it. Glad it sorted your issue.
