Pad recommendation, Overheated EBC greenstuff

I think they're toast :o
I also think you should use your brake pedal less and carry more speed through the corners :P

i'll end up at the wall if i don't use my brakes heavily, our local track has two long straights and a hairpin at the end so from about 140 km/h i step on the brakes 75 meters before the hairpin :)

tracking is so much fun, but expensive on the repair bills and components

ive got greenstuff that were installed about 400 miles ago, if not more. the whole thing about less dust is complete bollocks. i get more dust on my alloys than i ever did with the bmw pads, or are they still running in ?

answers on a post card.

I agree - but mine have only been on a few hundred miles. Hopefully in a few hundred more they will stop shedding so much dust.

actually the dust from the greenstuff isn't less than the oem pads, just that it doesn't stick to the face of the rim unlike oem pads, plus the dust is more like color sand (brownish) whereas the oems are black.

dust seems to collect at the flat width of the rim.

oh and ran textar oe replacement pads as interim pad before i change to a better pad, though they faded after just 2 hard laps, they were never cooked, no squeals after the track day.
