So. I have the Z parked up at my mates and last night after a bit of rain the p/s floor is soaking. D/s is ok. After a couple of searches on the web it's taken me to this site and a couple of culprits appear to be either the membrane behind the door card or the window reset.
Any opinions folks?

Just thought, this should be in the problems section. Can a mod move please

Is the entire passenger side wet front to back, if just at the front might be to do with door membrane, if behind the seat is wet as well it could be the roof motor drain blocked, sometimes if parked on a hill it causes any of the excessive water normally around the motor when drain blocked to spill over an run into the car

Start with the door membrane. That's the usual culprit where people have damaged it and not fully resealed/replaced it.

After that and depending if front or rear check the drains, under bonnet and rear wheel arches.

I'll put a decent bet on membrane.

Mine turned out to be the door membrane. After I replaced and butyl'd the hell out out of it, it has been dry ever since.

Best thing you can do is remove the passenger seat as if it's been leaking for a while, the foam underneath the carpet will be soaking and needs drying with a hairdryer. Took me a few days to completely dry it.

So early investigations shows the p/s roof drain is blocked and d/s fine.. To be continued
