Owner of a Zed ... nearly

so after weeks of searching I found a Zed a few weeks ago that ticked all the boxes, only issue was it had issues with the roof, it was slow to go up and got stuck coming down, i agreed a price and part of that was a new MOT and a new roof motor, the car passed the MOT with no advisory and was sent off for a new roof motor to be put in. Spoke to the guy today as I was meant to be picking it up, he said they put the new motor in but the roof was still a bit sticky, turns out the rams were rusted too so theyre currently replacing those and hopefully can pick up on friday :driving:
never heard of the rams going but figure anything new and free is fine by me.

Hope it works out! I've never had a problem with my roof to be honest

Actually there is one problem with it - but lets not go there

Could do with a panoramic as its a bit dark sometimes but that's about it.

haha thanks all, ill be sure to come back with pics once I've picked it up .... just gutted I've missed most of the sun but id rather that than having to pay for the parts & labour of getting a new hood motor sorted

Shame you are missing some good weather, but at least it will all work fine when you do get it!

Hope it is all sorted soon, then we can see the photos once you stop driving it long enough to take some! :driving:

So I've finally picked her up today :D :driving:
Lovely car and such a great drive, I'm taking it out for a proper go this afternoon and will take loads of pics to upload here.

Quick question, the interior is a bit tatty (as expected for a car 10 years old) it's got beige leather and the same colour on the centre console and interior, does anyone have any advice on tidying it up a bit? The plastic on the doors is the same beige colour and theres a few scuff marks from shoes where people have been getting in and out. My plan was to get some leather shoe Polish and do a quick rub over it and buff to remove the stickiness.

Also is there anywhere to find out exactly what colour the interior is? Can't seem to find it in yhe log book or on any of the original docs

It's a touch darker than that but may well be ill take a photo of it and see what people on here reckon, any ideas of the best way to touch it up?

Try a VIN checker to get details of upholstery etc - enter last 7 letters digits of VIN here
[PS Don't forget to check the box to confirm that you're not a robot!]

Lovely drive today, spotted a few zed's around north London too. :driving:

Here's a look at the beast :D

also the vin checker has thrown this up for the interior .. Leder Oregon/beige - LAAB

thoughts on plastic & leather touch ups?
