Owdoo

First leg of the journey!
Hope that this will be the only time it's on a transport vehicle.

Being put on the trailer today, could be here by weekend :D
Anyone else bought their car without seeing, hearing or driving it or is it just me mad enough to do that?

Years ago when I was trading cars I used to have other professional traders buy cars for me from auctions when I couldn't physically go myself and would buy based on their description / judgement. Most of the time there would be no problems except the one time when the chap bought on my behalf a 7 seater Toyota and after an hour of buying it he calls me back to say the last row of two seats were missing! :( But I would never be brave enough to buy unseen from a source I don't know. Anyway congratulations and enjoy your new toy! :D

She's home. A long journey which was apparently in heavy snow for a lot of it, even on a transporter it ended up filthy. Guess I'll be washing and getting the clay bar out.
Not disappointed at all so far.

There’s nothing better than giving a car the first wash to see exactly what condition the bodywork is in,
Rinse, snow foam, rinse again, sheepskin wash mit and two buckets of hot water then towel dried :D

I bought mine sight unseen (kind of because I was tired of the wife implying I was a bit 'conservative') from the other end of the country. It hasn't really gelled with me as there always seems to be another rattle or squeak, and several problems from early ownership (oil leak/cracked rocker cover). All were covered by the dealer fortunately, although it took nearly a year for them to arrange the bluetooth streaming add-on I paid for when I bought the car. The thing that annoys me every time I see the car is that the paintwork is less than ideal, especially when they described the car as immaculate, etc etc. Then all is forgiven when that straight six is on-song and the twin turbos want to launch you into instant loss of licence territory  .
Your Z4 looks great, but I'd be wary of those 19" wheels if they still have run-flats on them. I believe they're especially prone to cracking :?

A quick wash and brush up.
Very happy :D
