Overfilled coolant. What do I do?

Hi. I went a bit overboard. What do I do?

I was thinking it might be an idea to let the engine run with the coolant cap off so that any excess would flow out of the tank by itself.

Thoughts?

Remove the excess with a syringe or a syphon.

And if you don't have either of those things?

Bit of tube or hose in the top, give it a suck and put the sucked end lower than the tank and let it syphon out.

if its just a-little i wouldn't worry tbh... but a simple syphon method to remove the excess.

If you can get a absorbent rag in there to soak up some of the excess

rag couldn't get enough out. Will try the diy syphon method a bit later.

Unscrew the squrtie part
Depending what it's been used for it may need cleaning
Put the part that goes in the bottle into the res
Then use the trigger to squirt the excess in to the bottle you have

Shame you have sorted it. I was going to suggest a rolled up beer mat. They absorb everything and this is why they are not allowed too close to rivers and beaches.
