I’ve not driven any of these. Are there any definit , no don’t buy one or specific beware of problems or advice out there?

Assume you mean the G29. Have only ever taken a short test drive in one. I quite liked it. But I still had my ///MR at the time and that had sooo much more. I'm sure the owners here love them.

Great car! I put on 2k miles in less than a month of ownership and really quite a practical & fun car all things considered.

I've had a G29 for 2 yrs is a seriously good GT tourer the M40 is fast too, a good reliability record so far. They dont make them any more buy one while you can
It is not a fun car like the E85

Curious how do you define a "fun" car? I'm loving my M40 6MT.

E85 had harder suspension preferred by some for track days etc. Personally I found it too hard for daily driver...

Having owned both, that’s really the major difference. Because we have the 6MT version, we get the specific revisions designed to improve the dynamics and make the drive much more involving. The 8-speed auto, on the other hand, just isn’t as engaging. Sure, you can tootle around without a care in the world and then floor it to make it come alive, but it’s just too easy—and ultimately, not as rewarding.

And it's also the simple things, waiting at a junction, just blipping the throttle and getting that perfect launch out, not just flooring it and screaming down the road.
