I had a overheating problem for probably 2 years. Had the Thermostat changed and the Electric water pump. This helped a little, but after 20 miles, my temp gauge would start to rise. Worse on hot days.
Finally, my mechanic told me to let him have the car for a few days.
He finally figured out the problem was the radiator, so we replaced the radiator and this fixed the problem.
So, if anybody is having a problem with overheating, get a Flow Test done on the radiator FIRST!! Which is what I did.
The cost is very minimal, $50. My Radiator was 40% clogged...
