Over 70 insurance

I have just renewed my insurance for about £250, considerably less than the £320 last year. However, when I renew next year, I will be just a few months away from my 70th birthday - how did that happen?

Is that any kind of milestone for premiums?

Mine certainly dropped once I said I was retired but then I did wonder if there is an age milestone 70? 80? where it will suddenly shoot up :?

Tim.

I do my mother in laws insurance who is 85, it is more but not shockingly so

OP I think any one who has an original copy of that album should get free insurance anyway.

I first bought it on cassette when it first came out - that was the only player I had. Within a few weeks, I had bought a record player and I managed to get Woolworth's to swap the cassette for vinyl (which I still have, including the posters). I drove the guy upstairs mad by playing it non-stop for a whole weekend.

I then also bought the CD when they came out.

I only had it on vinyl, but did record it onto a cassette for the car, then on CD.

I don't think my Mum's car insurance started to climb until she was in her late 80s.
