Outdoor parking

Had my z4 over 2 weeks now, was planning on keeping it in my garage but a clear-out would be needed, big time!

just wondering do any of you who park your car outdoors use a car cover? I might buy one for the short term!

hello and welcome

i use a cover if i think it will be parked for over a week or so

I keep mine outside... I do have a cover, which I use when the car's not going to be used for a few days and it's just been washed.
Though personally, I would definitely clear out the garage for the Zed. Would love a garage for mine!

Mine lives on London streets and loves it. The odd clay bar treatment and she'll be fine...it's a car not a savill row suit!

I had exactly the same issue, garage full of bicycles and kids stuff. Got my Z a couple of months ago & planned to keep it in the street but soon started to work on hanging the bicycles up and getting rid of loads of crap. Z now snuggly tucked away in the garage mon-fri most weeks. I wasn't so bothered about it weathering outside (I agree with tjlazer on that score), I was more concerned with it sitting around and just getting colateral damage from bad parking or plain vandalism. but now I've started to use the garage, I'm hooked.

Mine is parked on the road, only really worried about the roof so I'm thinking of getting the tarpaulin cover :D

Mines outside in all weathers as you can see but as said above clay polish seal and wax every six months she will be fine but if i had a garage i would use it.

It has been very rainy here over the last couple of days so getting very worried about the soft top being outside all winter. So I have just ordered a tarpaulin (part 82150151568) from Joe at Soper of Lincoln for £67.50. Well worth it for the peace-of-mind I think.

I have a garage but keep the car on the drive with no cover. Its a modern car, the electronics will die long before the rust gets to it. Just wipe the bird poops off when you can.

Im going to get something like this to keep this inside dry, im sure it could fit behind the pax seat during winter. Though i think the aircon is supposed to dehumidify but not sure which setting!
