I am not sure, even then they wouldn't pursue you. I saw a guy blatantly go through on red with a panda car at the front of the junction. Just let the driver go and carried on as if it hadn't happened... :?

Not response trained maybe...

They would still be able to pull them over.

That would involve them going through a red light to catch them, and even if not making a stop requires specific training technically. Can't assume what job they were on, PCSO's, training level etc. many reasons why it may not have happened.

Lights were on green on our side, the guy was adjacent who came through while our light was on green, so he was well red.

From my days, I can't see any reason why they didn't pull him 100 yards down the road. Copper went straight across and let him go.

A few weeks ago, I was at a motorway services putting my customary £5 in like I do there.. I HATE being held to ransom over fuel prices, so always put the minimum I need in to get me to a "proper" fuel station lol.

Anyway, there was a marked 5 series traffic car at the next pump also filling up and as I got out, he said "sounds nice that, better than my diesel lol" I paid and came back and he was still filling it, and as I got back in and started it up, he shouted over, "give it a rev then" so I obliged and as I left the forecourt onto the exit slip, gave it the beans (as James May would say) I could see him looking over and grinning in my mirror lol.

Ah yes, forgot you were ex (right?)...no idea then, I'd like to think there was a good reason though, if it was an easy pull like you say wouldn't make sense unless there was some reason.

Yeah i think if you arent being a tw*t and your car looks like its cared for then most will admire rather than pick at your car. Alot of them are car and bike enthusiasts anyway
