After having an M135i a few years ago

welcome to the forum, I would have thought a M135i would have bee a much nicer drive than a Z4M

They're very different. z4m feels a lot more of an event to drive and the engine is much rawer. I also found lack of LSD frustrating on the 1 as it had bags of torque.. and its roof didn't come off!

Funny you mention the Cayman I was on the lookout for one for a while actually put a deposit on one 2008 model the garage was putting it through a MOT and it failed on low compression on cylinder no3, the garage contacted me to inform me and offered it to me with the remaining 4 months Mot and no warranty they were reducing the price by £1500 I said F that got my deposit back checked online and discovered the engine problems they suffer from so bought a coupe 3.0 si and love it with no regrets whatsoever

Welcome. I went from a Lotus Esprit turbo to a Zed. The Esprit was a non runner when I sold it on, the Zed is a runner so I am happy!!!!.
