What could he do to a Z4MC that would make it worth less than my 110k Z4MC, owned by a scouser, that's been on track and to the 'Ring a 'couple' of times, and hooned around Wales all the time?

I know. We took a tiny bit of negative camber out after that - and started buying part worn track rubber at £20/tyre instead of new R888s at £200 a tyre.

I miss that M5. Less precise than the Z4MC, but took bumpy B-roads and long runs in it's stride. It was also much easier to control on the throttle.

I did see that, but I was just providing a counterpoint and being self-deprecating at the same time :thumbsup:

Lack of use, or the opposite, does not indicate how a car has been cared for, and you'd expect a car that is driven hard to have had money spent on it or to have ended up in a ditch/tree. The Z4MC is the first car I've bought with less than 80k on it (it had 9k, and I've put 100k on it), and it's been great not having to spend £1000 a month (as per the M5) when yet another expensive/BMW-only part needs replacing.

Anyway, at least it's a scouser with 'no mates' so the passenger seat is as new - so must increase its value significantly - probably into 5 figures :cry:

BTW, my brake fluid is changed about twice a year, oil/filters is changed about three times a year (twice for scheduled service, one interim) :P
 
Sounds good, I should know! I tend to change up o the edge of the yellow when going for it but have hit the limiter in 1st and 2nd before...

Making me think about 4th? What speed would that be on the limiter? very license unfriendly!

Done that at Spa, going up hill. feels abusive, so started changing into 5th a bit earlier after a couple of laps. Must get back there one day. :)
