Other Group buys?

Great to see a lot of interest.

I am sure the tail-lights are sub £100 each. I emailed Bob this morning and he hasn't come back to me yet. I will also try my local stealer in Exeter for a quote and see what they come up with. I personally don't want the full set, clear sides, rears and centre. I have done my sides anyway, only £11 each from stealers!

Will keep you posted...

same here just need the rears (well and front if anyone else is interested in those too).

M-Sports MFSW is £220.21 from http://www.cooper-bmw-parts.co.uk

I could be tempted into a multi-buy for that :driving:

Anyone know if it comes with the spoke covers? I'm thinking sadly not as they are an extra £128.01!!!!

If you decide what the options for Group Buy would be, I have a parts contact at another BMW dealer in London to see what they can do.

I also have a contact at Parrot, if people wanted to try a GB on their gear.

just as a follow-up on price, I checked when they phoned me earlier and Cruise Control and MFSW cost me £208 incl.

which breaks down to £62 for the CC and £146 for the MFSW.

Hope that helps.

Wow £62 for cruise control!!!! Did that include fitting???! Which stealership was this? I would defo get cruise for that price....

Ames x

nope, that's just the switch littleone_90, you have to cut the cowling and fit it yourself, if you have a post facelift it is more work. On the pre facelift the connections are under the cowling so you just have to plug it in :)

do a search, there are a couple of threads that tell you how on here :)

Now just to confirm is that the wheel itself, or just the buttons?

it's what I posted the link for on the other page when you asked, just the buttons, it's a retro fit.

if you click the link I posted, it will become clear

Edit: here it is again - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BT52&mospid=47797&btnr=32_1475&hg=32&fg=95

Apologies, hadnt noticed the link on the last page.

Are the spokes of the M wheel black, or is it the covers that are black?

That isn't anything to do with the ///M, it's a retro fit MFSW control for a standard Z4.

My steering wheel looks exactly like that, if yours looks different it might be a later model, I dunno. There is information on retro fitting this on other threads, maybe try a search :)

Can't remember exactly what I paid but I'm sure my local stealer charged me close to £200 for 1 rear light.

I will be seriously P****D off you guys get them sub £100.

Sorry, i thought it was the M one as it looks similar.

Going back on topic:

I'd also be interested in a Strong Strut in the future, I'm sure a GB could be negotiated with them and I'm positive that there would be enough interest on here.

They are in the US but have a UK distributor.

Just remember the insurance element of that - for my car, it would literally double the insurance cost if I fitted that.

The Cruise Control is so cheap I personally wouldn't bother with a GB, you'll save ~5 quid but have to fart around with delivery/shipping to local branches, collecting names etc just seems a lot of work for a relatively small return.

It only takes 3-4 days to get it delivered from .de if you order it at your local stealer :)
