Other Group buys?

Hi Forum,

With Xmas fast approaching I have started to compile a wish list but need to prioritise as apparently Santa aint loaded!!!

Must haves, carbon diffuser, clear/red tail lights, non RFT's etc etc

Here is my question. Are there any other regular/common mods we can group buy on? Would anyone be interested in a group buy on clear/red tail lights? Referring to pre facelift owners. I hate my red and yellow ones. So I think this is top of the list. Why aren't there any aftermarket z4 tail lights? Would love a set of modern LED ones! It seems like a good market as most people seem to want to change? I would wait for a 2nd hand pair but I think hell might freeze over before any come up, clearly a popular item. If not, does anyone know of a UK site that offers the OEM part plus postage cheaper than the stealers? All thoughts and comments welcome.

I'm looking to do the following mods and, if possible, I'd be up for a group buy on:

* Rear tail lights
* MFSW
* Cruise control

Me too if they're of OEM quality and plug 'n' play. Would also like an M Sport steering wheel...

Hah!

I don't work for BMW. I can't, I have endorsed not having Run flats in my first post! I have my own recruitment firm, my pic is on my website, http://www.4frontuk.com

Although, I reckon selling cars must be easier than people!?!?!?!?!?!

However, do we have any forum members that do work for BMW - staff discount? I thought I would start this message as I believe I can save myself some money if we can get a bulk buy going. It seems the tail lights are a key buy for most pre facelift members...

Am I right in thinking they are about £85 a unit, ie £170 together? I will investigate and come back to you.

more like £150 each....

Part nos:

Right: 63217165730

price each: £150.01 before any discount...

rofl, I thought exactly the same thing! :D

Being new to the forum I don't know what GBs have already been run (aero skirts seems to be the main one) but I'd definitely be up for the rear lights (pre facelift).

I have already ordered the MFSW and Cruise Controls, and I'm still not 100% on the diffuser as I think it makes the exhaust pipes look wonky.

I can't think of anything else I need, I will be going down the wheel/tyre route soon, but that can't be done via a GB.

What about Parrot handsfree kits, I could do with one of them :D

no not that much... around £100 each.

those prices came from here: http://www.cooper-bmw-parts.co.uk/ which has been accurate for everything Ive used so far....

non OEM is probably cheaper though.

I got quoted £296 for rear tail lights, rear break light and side indicators (all clear) and then a further 10% discount. This was at Berry.

That sounds like a really good price! I'd have imagined a lot more.

I paid £86 each from the dealer (Vines), but that is 3 years ago though so maybe they have hiked the prices?

do you have a picture?

With different part numbers are you all talking about the same style?
