Other BMW models with same MFSW as Z4?

Can anyone tell me if any other BMW models shared the same M sport steering wheel as in the 3.0si please?

I'm looking for a parts donor!

Yep, specific to the e85 and E86

However... The E46 ones will fit, and the buttons can be made to work, which maybe something to look into, depending on your problem

All parts are the same from all e85/e86 wheels with removable trim ( apart from colour) the only one that is different is the middle one with "M " on it.

I was trying to get a set of the rubberised plastic parts, whose coating starts to break down. I was going to try to make some templates for members to download and to be able use on vinyl / decal material of their choice so that they could apply it themselves without the whole process of removing the steering wheel and stripping it down. This way we could do matt black, gloss black, silver...... whatever colour you can get the decal in.

The alternative was to get a set of the decals below and try to make templates from them but they don't seem to have the best coverage...

I have messaged the sellers to see if they can do batches in matt or gloss black too

The rubberised coating can be stripped off quite easily (acetone or meths IIRC) and the plastics resprayed. Did mine when I first got the car and still look good 3.5 years later.

I have cleaned a few up, melted one with acetone, so be careful, hand sanitiser is my latest go to in order to remove the coating. I have sprayed a few custom ones too. Latest project when I get a minute is to make my own vac table so that they can be wrapped easily.
