That can work against you as well, the must-make-example sentencing etc.

Not knowing enough of the facts to judge, I would say a difficult balance to find - as the judge said. So a bit of both, lenience and punishment.

yup thats whats been floating about the news. 5 yrs for the killing 8months in the klink and the rest house arrest and 3yrs suspended for the gun crime.

apparently its too mch of a risk for him to be in prison.

That joke would be funny if he was actually going to a normal prison.
