In my ongoing quest to find a really good small independent specialist local to me, i found a little gem yesterday. Infact it was quite a stroke of luck that i found them at all.
I was doing my usual practice of typing various key words into google, discounting the big adverts, and instead looking at the personal recommendations of fellow bmw owners on various enthusiast forums. After lots of trawling i found a post made back in 2003 by a 5 series owner singing the praises of one Keith Ormiston. What caught my attention was that he was located only half a mile away from me.
Yesterday i had the pleasure of meeting Keith, who runs Ormiston BMW, located near Kingston in Surrey. I rang him to find out a bit more about what he does, and he invited me round to see for myself. He was very busy but made the time to talk, and was extremely knowledgable and very friendly.
What is interesting for you guys is this;-
After chatting for a while i mentioned the forum and Keith was very interested. Infact he said he would offer a reduced labour rate to any Z4 forum members that decided to visit him.
I want to make it very clear that i am not affiliated with Ormiston BMW in anyway. I have been looking for a specialist that i know i can trust with my car for a while now, and believe that Ormiston BMW are it.
