Pug over the XR2, would still love a Manta GT/E coupe though.

Everytime, I had XR2/3 and the Peugeot was by far the best wafer thin panels though, if you lent on it, it would dint :D

I'd love an original 1.9 GTI.

In my lottery garage believe it or not! Although i'm pretty certain a Lambo LP-640 would come before it!

Yep made from tin foil! I had a the 1.6 GTi Pug, super handling, crappy trim, mine rusted like a bugger round the arches... Was good fun while it lasted :)

My 2nd car at 20 was a Manta GT/E hatch with the twin headlamp conversion , eventually sold it for £750 after i,d dented almost every panel ,broke the key off in ignition & had it lowered by cutting the original springs :o what was i thinking  that was after my Renault 5 Gordini :) happy times

Good find. Love these and just the sight of the interior sends nostalgia rippling through me with memories of hooning around in my friends 1.6 GTi and racing around the Welsh countryside with him with in my Corsa GSi back when I was still a teenager!

As with all things, something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

I am sure that will sell.

A corsa GSI ... I remember being 17-18 and thinking these were SO fast , my friend had one which I drove, gear box was absolutely fecked, as was the clutch, it did sound like a top class chav chariot though :D

Were they actually pretty quick ?? The same guy also had a corsa B (back in the day) with a red top turbo in it, that was a death trap !!

Love love love the 205  my first car was a 1.4 xs me and my dad rebuilt the engine over the summer holidays. I waxed polished and cleaned that thing within an inch of its life. I had a lovely set of 15x7 TSW Hockenheim Shod with Yokohama A510s

Wish I still had that car it was raw and fun. You never knew what would fall off next.

My Golf is the only appreciating car I have, worth more every year :D
