How have you got 12k mods? Taking out serviceable parts?
I've done the usual aesthetical mods and mine isnt a fraction on your cost.
But thats a fair question on insurance... If you change your roof red do you need to declare it?

Yes 12k is a hell of a lot of money- Does this include the purchase price of the car?

ranski said:I have done some trading with parts so have managed to knockdown the overall price somewhat
But if I roughly added up all the mods - bumpers, quad exhaust, skirts, seats, headlights, steering wheel, satnav screen, head unit, strut brace, alloys, rear lights etc It would be around £4,000 but as mentioned above the true cost would be around £2500 as I have sold on seats, headlights and a few other items to recoup some money

(wheels- excl tires (1300), winter wheels - excl tires (255), aero skirts (500),fbumper (500), rbumper (300),exhaust (900),pedals (50),strut brace (160),illuminated sills (60),intravee (150)
Plus on top my insurance has been over £100 more each year because of the above.

It's not that - we are just wondering why it's twice as much as others who have the same or more mods?
If you're serious about getting an engine upgrade, there's no point in getting a new quad exhaust until you get the new engine as, strictly speaking, the exhaust will need to be changed again to match the engineJonny essex said:Mod list comes to £11,265.....remember alot of work im having done not myself, example the rear quad will cost me £1247 this is for fitment, whole new exhaust system and M rear bumper!
Jonny essex said:No offence but get you calculator out and add it up, ur steering wheel alone new is around £400.

Scared to sit down and calculate. What I've spent. Mods:
Individual interior - M seats, dash, door cards etc
Custom wheels
M front bumper (not fitted yet)
M steering wheel
De ginger (front, sides and rear lights)
CDV delete
Gap Tech
Aux input on stereo
Lowered - springs. Paid to have them fitted & alignment
Still need to get my M bumper fitments and get it on the car.
Don't think I've spent more than £2k on that lot :?
