Also ordered and am awaiting delivery of a white 20i MSport with comfort pack, 19's and just added pro nav as standard radio is a little dated. Agree with the slk being better build but then again IMO Mercs are generally better built than bimmers. Auto box is very slow. Bring on the end of June. Test drove the 18i and in sport mode it felt quite perky. Insurance is also amazing cheap at 265 -paying 500 on my c220 cdi auto coupe
 
I'd liked to get the pro nav, but couldn't really justify the cost against the amount I'd use it. I rarely use sat nav and when I do it's usually when I'm taking the dogs somewhere. I agree the standard radio looks dated, looks much more modern with idrive. I do have a bit of a gripe that there's no screen as standard, especially when getting parking sensors, as its just acoustic with no visual feedback I'd get with idrive for the same price. Nice thing with the slk was having a screen as standard and being able to pick up a Becker map pilot off eBay for about £200 and having fully integrated sat nav for a fraction of the cost of COMAND. Downside for me will be the car being less attractive when I want to sell it.
 
I also wanted the nav but its way too expensive. It makes the interior so much better but with my budget im going to have to stick with a normal sat nav :(

They should definitely integrate a screen in there with some basic features even if you dont opt for the sat nav.
