Order new wheels tomoz need help

I'm thinking of recommending some wheels I want. So I can snaffle them second hand when you decide you don't like them ;) Got a set of anthracite 19" CSL reps (the ones in the sig pic). If you want to dip your toe in the CSL waters. Only one little scuff on one wheel, but you'll want to repaint them anyway after a week :P
Less than £500, and they've got some rubber left

I would just keep the 313s and have them put back to before looked spot on and unique. Only E85 I know with 313 loads of people have the BBS wheels.

So you going for 8.5s and 9.5s or the pussy 8 and 9s :poke:
Well the 8.5 and 9.5" have a ET of 40 and im worried the fronts will rub like they did on et35 which resulted in rubbing away some wheel arch, what do you think Dave?

I agree but 5mm spacers on the fronts should sort it or maybe these if the offset is really 35 on the fronts.

Didn't realise you had rubbing on et35. Is that on fronts or rears?
I am on 8.5s and 9.5s et35 on both, lowered on eibachs with no rubbing.
Putting a 5mm spacer on a wheel with an et40 would make it equivalent to having an et35

Why did you have to show me these. They're niiiiiiiiccccce :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Don't buy any spacers until you see where they sit. My rears are about level with the rear arch so any spacers bigger than 10mm you may have rubbing issues on the rears.

Mate, did you see these......

....you know you want them!

You go for what you like the best no matter what opinion is J, you will be living with them on a daily basis, good luck mate

I put these on mine. Pics are poor but you get the idea

Avant Garde M590 bespoke Alloys, front 19 x 8.5 ET 30, ( 235 x 35 x 19)
rear 19 x 9.5 ET 15 ( 275 x 30 x 19)

Mo, they look ace, never seen these pics before.

Thanks Bro , link below for the thread. Pics are crappy as I only have a blackberry to use. The wheels are hand brushed finish including the inner barrel, clear lacquer with flat finish as opposed to gloss. I'm going to get hold of a decent photographer so people can judge them properly

z4mo, those alloys do look nice.

get some genuine 313s for £1000 or less on ebay.
when I get a z4 again I think that is what i'll buy or maybe some ultra light weight alloys if there are any which aren't obscenely expensive

That is correct.
Perhaps you should stick to the wheels you know
Im goin with 8.5 x 9.5 et 40 then the fronts wont rub as i want new wheel arch trims as both worn on the edges, then stick a 15-20mm spacer on the rear

Mate, a few people on here (including me) have 255/35/19 tyres on the front which stops the rubbing on 8.5'' front wheels.

They do give sod all rim protection though.

I'm sure you mean 225/35/19 as 255 would rub like fook!

I honestly dont see the point of buying new wheels only to put spacers on them = more stress on hubs, premature wheel bearing failure, and if can be seen look pants.

Buy the correct offset in the first place and save money
