Orange reflectors

I think a couple people have had them painted with good results. And I think a few others with black cars have applied tint to cover them. I keep hoping someone will make clear replacements, but I haven't had any luck finding them.

That about covers the options at this point.
I painted mine.

I picked up an extra set & had them painted.
& Yes they are a bit of a pain to re & re, but not terrible. [tight working space]
The fronts are double sided taped, from behind.
The rears are the most difficult, they twist/snap into place from behind.

hmmm, what did you use to loosen the fronts? heatgun?

hmmm, what did you use to loosen the fronts? heatgun?
That would help, but they just push out with enough pressure.
 
Couldn't one remove them, airbrush with some thinned touch-up paint, along with a layer of clearcoat and be done?
