Orange Pay Monthly Upgrade Phones

Peeps,
Im up for renewal but i've not been keeping track of the latest mobile phones comparisons.....

Can anybody recommend any of those ? Not fussed if its a smartphone/pda or just makes calls, I've had one in each of those categories and I can get by the same with each.
No iPhones till later this year , can anybody vouch for other smart phones, is the HTC Hero the 'Android' or something different?

I have had Sony Ericsson's for a fair few years - always been pretty happy with them

This last upgrade I fancied a change and negotiated a trial with a Samsung Tocco Ultra, but just couldnt get on with it and went back to a Sony (c905) which isnt on your list... w995 is supposed to be ok though.

just my 2p :D
 
Im in same situation...except i think ive got 2 months on my contract....perfect time to get the Iphone.. :D
