Yes, that's surprising. I've always found the sport button to give a nice boost.

One thing i haven't mastered yet actually is the heel toe. I either keep blipping too much or too little so will give this a try with the sport button on as like said previously could make it a bit easier.

I'm also finding the accelerator pedal is a bit further away than im used to, so having to angle my foot more which isn't helping.
 
One I wouldn't have specced but really quite like on mine is the electric folding mirrors... might be a false sense of security, but I always use it in busy car parks and it does make you feel quite smug and still feels like a luxury item on a 10 year old car. Just a pity they can't be coded to the key, but hey-ho can't have everything I suppose!
