options and how often

Yay :D
Cruise - I like and fitted it to my car
Heated Seats - especially with the roof down
AUX - listening to iPod/Phone music easier than CD Changer...
Cup Holders - fitted and used :D

Indifferent/Not bothered
Bluetooth - was ok, then I changed phone which didnt import the phone book, so never use that now
CD Changer - Had the dealer fit it as condition of purchase, now never used cos of AUX
Memory Seats - mrs gannet rarely drives it (3 times in 5 years...)
Sat Nav, really just use TomTom or Phone

Cruise - use almost daily and love it, if I change my car definitely want one
Heated seats - love them, again if I buy another roadster, a must have
AUX - don't have but have ipod adapter and again use everyday
Cupholders - don't have and never want one
Bluetooth - would like to have, again when buying another car, prefer to have
cd changer - no use for me
memory seats - not useful if you are the only driver
satnav - don't have and don't travel much to count it as necessity but would be nice to have
light sensitive headlights/rain sensitive wipers - no fussed at all, can turn them on manually with no problem :P
Xenon/LED headlights, would be nice but when buying new silly prices to add as an option.

Option ratings according to my ownership experience:

Sat Nav :) - Not brilliant and the lack of post code entry is a PITA but for system integration, I wouldn't be without it. It's great being able to control my iPod through the system via an Intravee.

M-Sport Seats :D - Far superior in looks and feel to the standard seats.

MFSW (M-Sport) :D - Great feel and convenience. Just wish some of the buttons could be reprogrammed for functions the driver uses most. It could probably be re-wired but I'm not clever or brave enough.

CD Changer :| - Erm, it was useful for providing a connection to the Intravee...

Xenons :) - Wouldn't be without these. Make me feel like I've been driving around with candles on the front bumper in previous cars.

Cruise Control :D - I frequently make long motorway journeys and find 38mpg+ a breeze with the CC. It's also great to give your foot a rest or to ensure you don't get caught out by SPECS cameras in long stretches of roadworks. There's no way my next car won't have this fitted but I can see the lack of appeal if most of your driving is urban.

PDC :| - It's occasionally useful but I rarely leave it parked up anywhere that needs it. Not something I'd pay for on a new car.

Bluetooth :) - The data link works great but I find the telephone sound quality can be a bit hit and miss, especially at speed.

Memory Seats :) - Mrs Bradders sometimes drives so it's a thumbs up from me as I'm a bit OCD about my driving position.

Automatic Lights :) - One of those things I never really think about but would probably miss if I didn't have them.

Automatic Wipers :( - I agree with Ally!

Hardly ever the use heated seats, apart from today when I thought my butt was on fire after 15 minutes!
The sun was out, the roof was down and it felt great :D

Iv got

and more that i cant recall at the mo but by far my BEST option is one i fitted myself...its a parrot hands free system that connects to the cars Hifi, and allows not only hands free blutooth calls but blutooth streaming of music and contacts through my iphone, it also has cable connection for mp3 and phono jack connectivity. Awsome bit of kit and a sinch to fit.

Ye the newer auto wipers are much much better than the Z4s ones my old 3 had the newer tech and they worked much much better. The zds never seem to know whether to work or not or how fast! Quite anoying

+2 - distracting sometimes, and alarming when they pause for a few seconds in heavy rain... At which point auto gets demoted and full wiper is given control
this never happens on mine :o

Mine work well too?

CD Changer
MFSW (M version)

Don't think anyone has mentioned my favourite extra......Hill-start !

I've been driving manuals for years but always liked driving autos in traffic because you don't need to use the handbrake on hills.

Now the best of both worlds.

Anyone else love the Hill-start?
