Mmmm, we are in need of a VIN expert. Mine is in the LRxxxxx series and works fine on bmwarchiv.de
The problem is with a LSxxxxx series. what's the difference? Who's got a clou?

I've still had no luck with the decoder if I were to send you another VIN would you possibly be able to check if this one returns any info please?

Stick your VIN in here, copy and paste the results into this thread and people will help you or look at the list of your car vs the brochures..

I've tried a few different VINs and still get the same result! :headbang: .

Yep, tried with last 7 digits.

Right it simply seems that this system just does not work any longer, I have tried multiple decoders with multiple VINS from friends and family too and none of them return the options! Anyone else recently tried?
 
After some brilliant help from Connexie who emailed the mods of the german host for the vin decoder the system seems to be back up and running again as of today.

Once again a huge thank you and shoutout go to Connexie for all of his hard work! :thumbsup:

Reason for not functioning of the VIN decoder: iT was partial down for the best part of last week. In my best German I emailer the host of bmwarchiv.de and he was kind enough to answer toddy.
Problem solved.
