Optimum Luggage for G29 Road Trip

Dear all

Planning another euro road trip next summer, though for longer than our previous ones and hence been giving luggage some thought. Usually had two medium cases and then some holdalls at the front. I saw the Roadster Bag kit which looks to maximise the space but is pricey. The width at the boot behind the bulkhead is narrower and limits a number of cases on width of two side by side.
What have fellow G29 roadtrippers found to be their preferred luggage solution please. ( should say needs to cater for wife which means I get 30% of available space !)
 
Last year we purchased a set of American Tourista Aerostep 77cm and 67 cm sized suitcases and they will both fit into the boot at the same time, it's a bit of a squeeze but it's enough luggage for two weeks away. The boot is surprisingly big
 
At 280 litres I only fantasise about my paltry 180 litres ..less full size space saver…

If you need more by a motorhome! 🤔🙈😂
 
Thankyou all. I need to up my ambition in terms of what to cram in !
B21 - no joking matter as I was looking at Motorhomes just a couple of weeks ago at the NEC. I think this is a product of age that I even contemplate such a thing.

Please God no..I can’t believe I’ve seen one hard core Zeddite now posting banal pictures of domestic bliss in a camper van cluttering the same view previously he moaned about others when we were in our Zeds..

There’s another Z forum where all they talk about is f@£€ing camper vans…😢😳
 
We had one large and one medium suitcases plus a load of other stuff boot was full but we still had room for duty free on the way home
 
We have been away several times for a couple of weeks at a time. We take 2 carry on sized hard cases which fit in the back of thew boot, and two overnight holdalls which fit in front of those. this leaves space down the side of the cases to fit 3-4 pairs shoes, coats fit in above. My camera back fits in alongside the holdalls. There i then random space to drop other small items. If you are average height like us, there is actually a fair bit of space behind the seats on the floor as well as the net on the firewall. We tend to use the cases for clothes storage, and keep 2-3 days kit in the holdalls. re-arrange every couple of days works well. This was last years 15 day trip
