Keep the cream in the coupe.
If you want the interior of the MR lighter, you can open the roof :D
Pics of the pair together required first though....

I know what you mean Patrick..... I have a full time job,but do detailing at the weekends for people for extra pennies, but stuff that going to take longer than 16 hours all go to Matt at Obsidian..

Seem's to be a wave of "C" lovers defecting just lately
£14300 doesnt seem OTT if the car is how you describe .
Be good if it stays on the forum

Fantastic thread. Must have been some paint correction though to run £1k+!!

Not just correction as noted in the thread , front end respray and , a load of painless dent removal hence is excess of 1k.

Where's the official ad for the MC or did I miss it?

Hi Inkey

No ad yet as i have only decided today to pick the MR over the MC , she comes back from the detailers on Monday , Tuesday booked in at the garage for some parts to be fitted as the part was on back order and has now arrived , so I have advert done next week I should think, I have to pay £80 quid to get my private plate transferred ! :headbang: So i get the transfer done now so it should arrive back in time.

Wilks yeah .. I do not get to precautions with these things ... if i like something i basically go for it.... if am honest i quite enjoy it :?

nah mate , after i bought it he dropped the price to 9999 i asked what the hell he was doing seeing he did not even own the car anymore and he respond that he was winding someone up... anyway the advert was properly removed after asked . Wish i paid that for it  , of course if anyone was in doubt I could easily show the potential buyer my bank statement showing what i paid + email conversation surrounding that price change.

Basically its getting the front end done, load of car park dimples and a full 3/4 day correct over the whole car... costly but the detailer is highly regarded on the detailing forum and I have seen his work so its worth it.

it22 are in newport and they used an approved bmw workshop... why the grilling?

i can vouch for that. When I was selling my z4mc, I had a bit of timewaster come to view my car, and when it came down to it, he said he couldn't afford my car and he was in touch about a z4mc for 10k but it had just sold......twas that motor.......

Evolution will always take the path of best acoustic experiece. It is all about the noise. The path of the righteous man leads to the roadster ; it is inevitable. Which is why, one day, you too will end up in an MR mr wilks. It is even pre-ordained by your user name :D

Seen your car at Neil Garners the other week looking good with the CSL's when I dropped mine off for some work fitting Porsche Brembo callipers :D

Neil.

Perhaps some pics side by side :D

I do like the coupe, but its just the rear that im not sure on. Side angle i love the coupe. But rear on the roadster is so fat and aggressive, the coupe just does not do that imo.

Interesting choice keeping the roadster, but obviously the best car won

Its funny I find the rear best part of the coupe, there is no doubt the coupe is IMO a better looking car and ultimately more exclusive as I think the roadster is easily mistaken as any other Z4 on the road ... but I have had a coupe before so have scratched that itch as they say. The decision is not financially motivated but more based upon a different owning experience having a proper old rag top :)

Chris there be a nice family picture before the coupe departs , his is the last family zed picture I did when I had two Zeds at the same time couple of years ago now :)
