Opinions please

I am sadly selling my Z4. I have put it in the for sales sections here first. Please can you give opinions on anything I should add/remove from the advert and if the price looks over/under optimistic before I advertise it further afield?

Also the part-ex thing is off now anyway so it will be a private sale (I just need to update the ad).

Cheers.

good advert and decent price. i think it should get more interest as soon as the weather picks up next week..... not sure what others are selling for at the moment so am going by what i traded my old one in for 8 months ago

Thanks for the input. I get my new car tomorrow so ideally want z sold in the next month or so.

Does anyone have experience of best way to sell privately? My options seem to be ebay, pistonheads or auto trader. I have used ebay before but the fees seem a lot higher now for auction style. Maybe the classified option would be better.

i always go for classified listings on ebay. fixed fee and no messing about and yes those are the best yielding places to advertise although you could try gumtree as well

I'd go for eBay before AutoTrader.

I recently sold my 530d GT via AutoTrader, and I ended up getting the price I wanted, so I should be a big AutoTrader fan. Even so, I can't get rid of the feeling that I just got lucky. During the four weeks of the listing the ad had no more than 450 page views and I received about five enquiries that I'd call serious (including a comedian who travelled 150 miles by train, did a long test drive, went for a walk, then came back and said "will you sell it for the WBAC price?").

The Z4 is probably a more popular car, and yours looks like a really attractive buy. But when an AutoTrader ad runs out, it's another £140 or so to re-list it.
