What are everyone's thoughts on this car?

looks nice enough, price is a little top endy for the mileage if recent sales on the forum are anything to go by..dealer prices would usually be that way though I suppose

Looks like a fine car. Interior could do with a proper detail. The seats look a little tired. But I can't see out that would worry me. :)

A dealer is always going to want a bit more than a private seller, and I doubt there are too many manual 35i models around.

My only thought was the servicing schedule seems a bit odd - serviced at 36,832 then again at 39,524. Does that mean it did 36K miles before it's 1st service? :o

35i is a great choice, BUT....
Mine is a 2009 car with only 25K and every option with DCT. It cost me £13k two months ago!! It has a full service and BMW safety check for each year of its life.
Private sale so no BMW rip off markups and I pay £1200 for a full 3 year warranty from warranty direct, which is a far better product than BMW extended warranty as I know from past experience.

Take your time and look around, some really good cars out there with a lot less miles than this one, I mean it has not even got iDrive or auto dip headlamps! What about heated seats/steering wheel, seats with electric adjustment and memory etc etc??

Went to have a look at it yesterday. I've never seen a car so badly prepared by a garage. Under the bonnet was a absolutely filthy. The roof was down and the rear deck, roll hoops etc were almost as dirty as the engine bay. The driver's door was very tight to pull open and the passengers door was even worse. Flat battery ofcourse! Then there was the service history. Only one stamp in the book at 36k miles. None of the boxes had been ticked for oil, filter etc............nothing!!! I was handed a lot of print outs of work carried by BMW and the print out for the first service, again did not mention an oil change. It lòoked like it had merely been checked over. An unloved car me thinks. I thought being a 1 owner car it would have been a nice one and I was hoping the first service mileage was simply a typing error. Needless to say I walked away. Amazing how a car can look good in the advert but not so in the flesh. Offered me £6300 for my car :(

Wow, Mercia motors, just over the hill from me, not how they normally present cars...I’m surprised, but walk away Del, plenty more to see, shame though if it ticked your boxes.

Derek, £6300 for your car... its in far better condition than the one you went to see

"THIS ONE OWNER VEHICLE IS IN SUPERB CONDITION THROUGHOUT A TRUE CREDIT TO THE PREVIOUS KEEPER WHICH IS ALSO REFLECTED IN THE MAINTENANCE RECORD HAVING A FULL SERVICE HISTORY"
This is in their description. Was it the right car you saw?
