Opinions please. Stock wheels or CSL type ?

Gargy

I agree with your thoughts on tweaking the stockers first but I'm away a lot so generally impatient

Next trip home plan will be to have one opinion ready to roll.

I will probably get the new wheels first and if unsure keep the originals, then once coated keep as winter spares or put them back on.

I particularly like the look of bigger wheels, lower tyres so unless it seriously effects the ride thats likely to stick

Current thoughts for wheels and tyres are

F 8.5 x 19 ET 38 with 245x35x19
R 9.5 x 19 ET 25 with 275x30x19

Don't know if anyone's tried this combination

Theoreticially this should only sacrifice a couple of mill inner clearance and thrown the outer edge out 10mm front and back

frolicuk, if you're buying genuine CSL's then you'll be fine with these tyre sizes, if it's replicas then it's all down to offsets whether you'll get acceptable clearance. I've gone with the 245/35/19 on the front in the past and it's good but not as good as 235/35/19 which are perfect when combined with 265/30/19 rear.

By the way guys. Both pics contain my car. Before and after. But I think shadow chrome might look better. Anyone have pics of z4ms with that Colour wheels?

Mathias

For the record I like the black CSL's on the white car.

I'm also a fan of satin finish over black gloss but proper dark chrome is very nice.

I also think Anthracite would look cool with the white.

I get confused with the different colours :)
Currently mine is matte finish, but not 100% black. Probably very dark grey

Mathias

If not 100% black could be gunmetal this does vary in shade or darkness.

Sounds even better than full black.

They sound somewhere between black and anthracite.

Thats said the colours are all a bit subjective unless referring to a standard colour code for which there are industry standards.

Good luck with your choice

Stock. But if you love the CSLs then IMO they need to be lighter in colour, as said above

CSLs are just awesome but i think they're boring as sin now if im honest... i CANT wait to sell mine on.... they really suit the z4m however.

+1

Can't even be arsed to get new wheels yet, saving for forged items.

Were you not going for Rays Beedub? I'm looking at TE 37 lightweight ones. Its only a couple of grand for what seems very serious forged wheels.
