Opinions on which headlights please? Pics

Reluctantly having to replace headlamp units; drivers side has two of the four tabs that hold the light to the car's body are broken, and it's full of water despite new rear cover/removal of bumper, hairdryer blasting/sealing around outside.

I've had enough of looking around for used ones that are halogen and have all tabs intact for months so will go for angel eyes.
Can people let me know which ones they think look better please?

The chrome angel eyes look very chavvy. The black ones aren't as bad, but are still a bit boy racer for my liking.

I have the chrome ones not chavvy at all. They look great the halos aren't very bright during the day though.

Sorry Dan, it's just my opinion. I just don't like chrome stuff on cars. I painted my headlight inners because of this obsession

Neither do I to be honest but I made a choice and I'm stuck with it now... haha I was worried the black wouldnt look right on my car.

The black ones will look better in my opinion. I have these but as Dan has said the halos are practically non existent during the day, especially a bright day like today .

Here's a pic of mine, think they will look good against your red paintwork

i had 2 broken tabs, you can buy a headlight lug repair kit for about £10-£15 and you get 4 replacement lugs that just screw on where the old 1s broke off

I'd go with the chrome and then laminex the lenses in a subtle tint.
The black looks too dark and too aftermarket and the chrome on its own looks cheap

Lug repairs an easy fix but if you have ever coming in a after a new seal a new light would be the only solution- however now you know you can replace lugs (not commonly known) this widens your search
