I'm looking around for a Z Coupe and came on this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2476838.htm.....don't like the wheels though ( are they really BMW special order ?)......wasn't really thinking of an M but it looks like a good spec and price .....over to the experts what do you guys think ?
 
Hi there. Funnily enough i was looking a this same car about half an hour ago. Love the Interlagos colour and spec but actually not keen on the wheels - have no idea if they are special order or not but I imagine they paperwork would back this up (or somebody on here will recognise the style).
 
The wheels may be special order but not from BMW for sure, there was no wheel option other than the 18" standard M wheels. Tacky wheels aside the car may be OK but it's difficult to tell from the advert. Price and spec do look in the right ball park but you'd have to replace the wheels.
 
They don't say the wheels are 'special order from BMW', just that they're 'special order' - could be from Argos :P

(go easy on me as im new to the forum....)

Bought this car Several months ago from alexanders but for some reason they keep re-advertising it for sale ???

The wheels arent from BMW there made by a company called Finichi......Personally i like them but everyones entitled to their own opinion :cry:

Carter, sorry for abusing your wheels, if I'd known you were on here I'd have been more guarded in my comments. :oops: The rest of the car looks spot on though.

That's been resprayed at a guess, unless it was special order from the factory (if that's possible)

Why do you think that?
 
That wasn't factory paint. The seller had it advertised on PH a while ago and said so in the ad, obviously he offloaded it to a dealer. :thumbsup:

I think its because it says metallic pearlescent Alpine white... Alpine white is normally a solid flat colour.
