Right before i get all the bleeding heart liberals telling me what an awful guy i am...i dont care..but here is what i did after i had some one try to steal trim from my car some years ago..and it worked!!!
Many years ago i had a highly tuned ford XR4i..was diamond white lowered with nice rims and really loved...i diddnt have much money and truely was my pride and joy...the only problem was that people with normal Sierras would try to make them look like XR4i`s by adding exteria trims to their cars...now one of the trims that was paricularly hard to find was the trim that went around the wheel arches.
On two consecutive morning i went out to my car to discover that some oik had made an unsuccessful attempt to remove the trims from my car making a mess of the fittings in the process.
This meant i had to use a Silican sealent to fix them back in place...but this also gave me an idea.
On the inside of the wheel arch where the trim had been prised from and no ligitimate hands should be, i attached an additional bead of silican and into the silican i inserted some razor blades that i had cut in half.
The next morning....a trail of blood and an intact car. I left this deterant on for a week but car was never touched again.
Regrets??????.......NOT ONE..but i bet the thief did!!!!

Wow - extreme, but highly effective - great job :thumbsdown:

I'm not sure how I could do it to my badges without the car looking vaguely like something out of mad max

Perhaps if the blades were cut into reeeeeaaaally thin slivers they could be spaced round the edge of the badges, just sticking out, but not really visible.

Great work Bing ( and Hunter )

I cleared my Garage 2 days prior to picking my Zed up, as the door is not electric my Wife and Kids said I would get fed up having to get in and out to open and close garage twice a day, They were wrong 3 years later it is still garaged every night. I also have 2 kayaks suspended from the ceiling and all my car "stuff" in there.

Kayaks haven't been used in 2 years after I nearly died in one (really)

Edit, have you thought about getting blinds onthe back garage windows

Gives me another idea, not so serious - perhaps I can retrofit the tumble dryer and washing machine into the kitchen, get an old sofa, fit a radiator then I can relax whilst both posting on here and gazing at my baby :sweetheart:

Yeah, guess so... However I AM loving the garage. Drove 190 dirty miles today, and even though it's pi$$ing down outside I could go clean the windows and mirrors and fill up the washer bottle in complete comfort. Ace
