This came up on Facebook and I've also found it elsewhere when I looked up the location on Google.

I can't find a lot of details, but it seems they're hosting an open cars and coffee on both days. Saturday looks dry so I might go in the Z4. Anyone else?

I went to this today with a friend and it wasn't exactly what we hoped for. I assumed they'd set something up in the car park (coffee and an A110S would have made sense) and there'd be some people turning up in interesting motors. Instead, they have a room in the corner of the Renault dealership with 3 Alpines in it. They hadn't really put much effort into the coffee part... Had a long chat with an Alpine owner who was using his A110 launch edition as a daily and doing about 10k miles a year, which was interesting. No photos, sorry, as it wasn't really geared up for that.

Had a good look round this one at Hippo in Blackburn recently. 2nd hand at £49k :o Still think the arse-end looks poor and those alloys were truly gopping  20191027_142255.jpg

I went there yesterday. I was expecting loads of people however much to my surprise it was only me and another bloke who already owned a 1st edition.
It was well worth my journey there. I had a good nose around the 3 cars there. What shocked me the most was HOW HIGH THE DRIVING SEATING POSITION IS!! even at its lowest position I would've struggled to see the traffic lights! The sun visors would've been wasted on me. I'm not short at 185cm (6' 1") but hardly a gigant. Loads of legroom for a small sports car, though

[ref]M1k3yC[/ref], was it you and your friend who arrived just as I was leaving with a couple of magazines under my arm??? This was, very roughly, about 1:30pm or so. *very underwhelming* event, wasn't it! 8)

[ref]Spaniarduk[/ref], yes, probably! My mate is a bit on the short side and Indian. I had my DSLR with me in a shoulder bag, too, if that helps. It wasn't what I expected - I hoped they'd have coffee and at least one of the Alpines out in the car park. That chap who owned a launch edition was a top bloke, though. Did you come in a Zed? I didn't see any. A chap turned up in a Maserati that sounded rather nice :)

Yes it does look a little awkward from some angels.

[ref]M1k3yC[/ref], yup! It was you both! :D i was in pure 'stealth mode' sweeping through the merchandise of leaflets and so on as i was already leaving out the door haha. I wasn't in my Z4. Zeddie's tuck in the garage until the Spring. The Maserati was parked a quarter of a mile down the road. He went around one of the round abouts and headed up the road towards the dealer. I did think it was a car for.... the type of person that I'm not. I thought the unnecessarily loud exhaust was making up for the lacking in some other department :attentionwhore: . It never crossed my mind he would be stopping to see the Alpine
