Just got back in the car at the local parts shop and noticed a cut in my front offside tyre!
A little too much to ignore I thought -
So as it's too early for the winter tyres that I was planning, I faced a dilemma, one new tyre, or two on the front or even get next summers tyres early!!
Anyway in the end I 'found' a pair of old S-Max tyres 235*45*18 and had them fitted on the front. As the originals are 225*45*18 I first thought I would try one on a 108 I've recently acquired before fitting the two on the front. Not wanting to stress old tyres too much I left the 108 on - for the time being -
I have now ordered a set of Winter tyres which I'll fit early and not 'push' them too much in the warm weather.
What this really means that I'll have the 108's on for most of the year from next Spring and that gives me much more time to tidy them up a bit.
