oops...t cutted my entire car :(

Ha, we should invite Shittingbull to the party........(checks for mobile number from his Z4 ad....)

i had my car detailed, excellent job and if i recall it was about £120, the guy does it cos he enjoys it

I'll bring my Porter Cable to the party....
Never had a girls, BBQ, beer and detailing party before...

Woots will be very surprised when he next logs in

I'll fetch some of my hot friends and my Dodo Juice

I'm trying to organise a stag weekend - possibly we could all come to Woots's :beerdive:

If it's an open invite count me in. Would anyone object to me bringing along some dancing monkeys ???

PAHAHAHAHAHA!!
i worry about some guys on here

not ENTIRELY sure about the whole party at mine place in all honesty...but if someone else has on yehhh
hah im not sure whether to go back to the boring original topic or keep on with the party plans :P
but the car...yes im an absolute throbber....i did it by hand...its just lotsa lil swirls really...i took it to a pressure washer last nite...tonight the plan is to hand wash her in the rain...and then take her in and polish her...with some turtlewax stuff...NON t cut..
the t cut i used was just for standard colours...so not metallic...ha im a fool i kno...hoping to get away with it tho
hopefully i ll wash it and then dry it and then just keep applying the polish...gives me summin to do.
Then if it still looks terrible after ive used up all the polish i'll either get a claybar or just get it profesionally done.

But omg yes we should have a party...things wouldnt be as fun seeing as i have a gf now...but...she has friends??

Woots,
Lots have people have recomended Autoglym Super Resin Polish (SRP) because it has fillers and is VERY good at hiding the swirl marks you have inflicted, I cant vouch for Turtle wax being as good at that, dont get dis-heartend if the results are not satisfactory first time round.

And dont forget WAX or Sealant on top of your polish to seal your lovely fillers in, else they will wash away twice as fast.

i just washed and polished the car..
must say did look a lot better!!
just with one coat
then started puttin on wax and it began to rain so its prob awful now.
but at least i kno underneath its better and all is not lost

there is a god!

Hey woots, don't feel too bad mate, when I was about 19 with my first new car I decided to remove a few bugs from the front of the car with the "slightly" rough end of a dishwashing sponge.. Once I rinsed away the suds all that was left was an 18" area of fantastic deep swirl marks on the dark green metallic paint!!

My mother bought a new SL Roadster two years ago. two weeks old when she removed some bird crap off the centre of the bonnet with a pan scourer....... I kid you not! The evidence is still there, all scratchy for the world to see.

oh I forgot! When I was fourteen my sister asked me to fill the car with oil!
so I did, almost to the top!!!! (I know the exact word that it running through all of your heads at the moment, and it starts with t, ends with t and has "wa"in the middle)
I dont know exactly how much oil went in but it was many litres, lol.
You should have seen the smoke when it started, lol
We live and learn, :D
